The funny thing is that I actually agree with Bezos that media outlets like newspapers should not be endorsing candidates in elections. It is their job to report the news, not make news and avoid the appearance of being biased. I think if Bezos had announced that decision a year ago no one would have even blinked. The fact that it was announced a week before the election made it extremely compromising and looked like pure cowardice.
