Not strictly a sign, but Wilmington, Illinois' Gemini Giant used to be a fiberglass muffler man that was retrofitted as an astronaut and made a mascot for a now-closed restaurant called The Launching Pad. It was always a treat to come down the highway into town and see him.

Today he's in a place of honor in a park, commemorating Route 66.

Good evening, I spotted a weird graffiti in Frankfurt: "If you are looking for Schnitzel"
I hate Cliffhangers! The rest of the sentence is missing. What did the person want to tell us?

Otherwise, we Germans love to laugh about the French signs that say "sauf bus" because "saufen" means "drinking" in Germany...

⇧
