Spoilers on Friendica and Lemmy

Hello !Friendica Support ,

I noticed that both Friendica and Lemmy allow to tag spoilers, but neither is able to understand each other's spoilers. It would be nice to make those compatible.

Here is such a comment : link searchable on Friendica or link clickable in browser.
Same syntax is used in posts.

Thanks for replying btw !

Indeed the idea is that a post from Lemmy containing
::: spoiler lemmy spoiler
spoiler text
:::

should be understood by Friendica as
spoiler text
I was probably too vague in posting the same question here and on !Lemmy, but I agree with @Michael Vogel 's point that each side should treat the problem in decoding ingoing posts.
Otherwise the problem would still appear when reading a Friendica post on a Friendica forum from Lemmy, or vice versa

I guess the hard part is probably for everyone to agree on a common meta-language for cross-platform exchange.

Once the various dev agree on a common meta-language, there is some chance that it ends up being used internally by each platform. Each platform would still provide their favorite language to users for post redaction, but the conversion would happen once at post creation rather than each time a different platform fetches it.

Does this make sense?
