In Friendica I can choose Network Posts (those I follow), My posts, Local Community posts (server I am on), and Global community posts (all federated servers with the one I am on).

I can also see Forums (groups) I belong to, Persons, Organizations, and News. I can separate my feed by protocol type, view archives, search on: topic, fediverse addresses, forums, or hashtags, and finally, any saved folders.

The server I am on is federated with most instances including Mastodon, Hubzilla, Pleroma, Misskey, PeerTube, and many more. I can also edit my posts and have tools for images, urls, etc that make posting easy. It is a macroblog while Mastodon is a microblog.

I encourage folks to choose the one or more that works best for them on the server that is closest to them with the terms of service they align with.

On desktop or mobile? Some of those columns don't appear in my mobile app but I rarely use desktop.

I use desktop mostly. I've been told some Friendica users like the Fedilab mobile app.
