A simple fedi-trick

It just occurred to me that I can speed up my remote interactions by using my home instance as a custom search engine. That way, when say I just watched a peertube video, I can just add a short prefix in the address bar to get the video on my instance in the quickest way that I know of.

@Vegard (Hårfagre) Fjeldberg eo
One that I choose myself (in my case n/).
Maybe to be more precise, what I did in Firefox was
1. searched a stupid thing in my instance searchbar to find that the appropriate url was https://nerdica.net/search?q=%s
2. add nerdica.net as a search engine using the Add custom search engine extension (tbh I was a bit bummed that an extension was needed for that)
3. set up the prefix (aka keyword) in about😛references#search
