Aspettando il Linux Day 2021
Fri 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Shelenn Ayres

don't attend

Thank you for letting me know... I'll be bringing it up with the devs - I have the feeling that I saw something in the timeline a day or two about mistaken identity stuff going on.

Ah, found it: https://social.isurf.ca/display/e18176ef-1860-e75c-7cee-98e684830208

@John Douglas Porter Nobody's been hacked. Please see the linked forum post above - there's something a little weird going on and I think Friendica's somehow mistaking what to do with a federated calendar entry.

I'm sure it'll get sorted.

Thanks again, @Shelenn Ayres !

Thanks @Adam for shedding light on this.

I hope that's not the case! I wish I knew how to disable the notification from this event.

One thing that's weird... I try to change my password, and it fails, says the current pw I enter is incorrect. Well, I don't know how it can be; I logged in with it. !!!

Same problem when I try to enable 2FA. And there doesn't seem to be a "send me an email with a password reset link" feature. 🙁

This arrived on my Zap server as a Create/Event, with the Event object id pointing to the original event on mobilizon but the activity create actor and the object attributedTo were both set to a libranet.de Friendica user and the entire activity (including the object) appears to have Friendica characteristics and was signed correctly so it was imported here as legitimate. I've saved the logs in case they are helpful. I don't know what will happen to this comment since I'm replying to somebody who apparently has nothing to do with the conversation.

I just logged in Friendica after two days and I saw this post which I did NOT make. Was I hacked?

Hey! Do check my comment above, please.

The same thing happened to me: it says that I created or forwarded or followed this event/conversation, while I was not even online when the event was posted. Looks like someone hacked some feature that interacts between Movilizon and Friendica.
